Scowl Smash Late-Night TV with “Tonight (I’m Afraid)” on Colbert

Scowl blew the doors off late-night TV this week, storming The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (April 9th) with a searing performance of “Tonight (I’m Afraid),” their latest gut-punch off the new record Are We All Angels. This marked the Santa Cruz hardcore outfit’s first-ever television appearance—and they did not come to play nice.

The track opened with a deceptively chill alt-rock sway, but don’t get it twisted—halfway through, the band ripped the leash off and let the hardcore chaos fly.

Kat Moss turned into a full-blown cyclone by the end, unleashing a scream that could peel paint, as the band detonated into a finale that left Colbert and the audience visibly floored.

Scowl’s just getting started. They’re taking Are We All Angels across the pond in May for a Euro run, then hitting North America hard through June, July, and August.
